Ruth (Kroll) Hegefeld, 95, of Marlin, passed into her heavenly home Sunday, September 22, 2024 after spending time surrounded by her family.

Born to Arthur and Meta (Drews) Kroll on August 14, 1929, Ruth married Albert Paul Hegefeld on November 23, 1952.

Ruth loved spending time with her family as well as being outside gardening.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert, brother, Walter, and sister, Agnes. Ruth is remembered by many, including her brother Arnold Kroll, sons Donny and Melvin Hegefeld, Melvin's wife Dona and their sons Cole and wife Amelia, their children, Bentlee and Teagan, Clint and wife Emily, their children, Haize and Lainey, Donny's wife Denise, son Shane and fiancé Mallison Fisher, daughter Stephanie Morales, her husband, Jeffery and children Gabriella and Cristian Bolden, as well as his wife, Kassidi and their daughter, Emerie. Ruth was also adored by many nieces and nephews.

The family would love to receive visitors at Adams Funeral Home in Marlin Texas from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. Celebration of life will be held at Grace Lutheran Church at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 26, 2024 in Marlin, Texas.
