Marcelle A. Hinson, 95, formerly of Rosebud, Texas passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2022 in a Fairfield hospital. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Adams Funeral Home in Marlin with the Reverend Jud Strawbridge officiating. Interment will follow in Powers Chapel in Rosebud. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, July 22nd at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hinson was born August 14, 1927 in Mexia, Texas to Veron Lee and Lena Irene (McBride) Kennedy. She married William F. (Bill) Hinson in Rosebud and they were married for over 20 years until his death in 1998. Mrs. Hinson loved playing her guitar and her two dogs, Baby Girl and Rosie but her true love was her family; especially her kids and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 3 brothers.

Survivors include her daughters, Colla Gail Thompson and her husband, Larry and Elva Jo Rollins and her husband, Joe, sister, Lutheria Mayo, 5 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
