Mable Ludwig, 84, of Arlington, formerly of Marlin, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2013. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Adams Funeral Home with the Reverend Ray Blundell officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:00 to 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 19th at the funeral home.Mrs. Ludwig was born on October 16, 1928 in Falls County to Herman H. and Bertie Mae Brown Wornat. She married Johnny Lee Ludwig on December 31, 1955 in Marlin and they celebrated over 52 wonderful years together until his death on March 20, 2007. Mrs. Ludwig loved to read and cook but her true love was being with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 brothers, 1 sister and her daughter, Deborah Sue Smith.Survivors include her daughter, Becky Cryer and her husband, Mark of Arlington; son-in-law, Sean Smith of Arlington; sisters, Doris Goeke Luedke and Ruth Coble; grandson, Matthew Cryer and his wife, Whitney; granddaughter, Kylie Cryer; great grandchildren, Brynlee, Parker and Rilynn, many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Arrangements were entrusted to Adams Funeral Home, Marlin, Texas.
