James Steven Oliver Sr.,66, passed away on October 25,2026 peacefully at home in Perry, Texas. He was born on January 15, 1960 in Abilene, Texas to Duwaine and Nell Oliver.

James is survived by his wife Donna Buro Oliver and son Steven Oliver. His brother Curtis Oliver and many nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents Duwaine and Nell Oliver, brother Benny Oliver and sister Linda (Buddy) Oliver.

Those who knew James will remember that he loved fishing, playing pool and his chihuahua. But he will be best remembered for being the ice-cream man.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Sunday, November 1,2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Perry Methodist Church in Perry., Texas. James's legacy will continue in the lives of all who loved him.
