Fidelia Jane Kilgore Erskine died peacefully at Hillcrest Hospital on Monday, December 28, 2020.

Jane was born on June 22, 1921 in Quitman, Texas to Campbell Kilgore and Nell (Green) Kilgore. She was a graduate of Lon Morris College and attended East Texas Teachers College in Commerce, Texas. Jane was a long time member of the First Presbyterian Church, where she was a member of the choir, an elder, active in Sunday School, and active with the Presbyterian Women. Jane had a 30 year career in federal civil service beginning with the Civil Service Commission in Washington, D.C. and ending with retirement from the Veterans Administration Hospital in Marlin, Texas. She was an honorary member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.

Preceding Jane in death were her parents and three sisters.

Survivors include sons, David Pat Erskine and wife, Pam, of Huntsville, Texas, Jerry Campbell Erskine and wife, Mary, of Waco Texas; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers at Heartis Senior Living for the excellent care Jane received during her two year stay.
