Edward was born to Edward and Eleanor Boeche in Marlin, Texas. He graduated from Riesel High School and graduated with an associate degree from MCC. He retired from Walmart after working there for 30 years. He always enjoyed playing the piano and organ. He was active at church playing the piano and organ, serving as an usher, and serving on various church committees and boards. He gave piano lessons at Faith, Hope, and Charity in Marlin. He was a member at Grace Lutheran Church. He always enjoyed a good joke and frequently brought smiles and laughs to those around him.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Michael Boeche.

He is survived by his sister Donna VanSickler, 5 nieces and nephews, and 5 great-nieces and great-nephews, and many cousins.
