Corrine B. Kunze, 70, of Marlin, passed away Monday, January 25, 2016 in a local nursing home. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Saint John's UCC in Otto with the Reverend William Wright and the Reverend Larry Felice officiating. Interment will follow in Saint John's Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Friday, January 29th at Adams funeral Home in Marlin.Mrs. Kunze was born on February 5, 1945 in Marlin, Texas to Rudolph Edwin and Lillie Dora (Brown) Grochoske. She married Jack Kunze on November 6, 1982 in Marlin and they celebrated over 33 wonderful years together. Mrs. Kunze was a member of the First Christian Church in Marlin. She loved to do needle work and crocheting. Mrs. Kunze work as a respiratory therapist for several years with Torbetts Hutchings and Smith Memorial Hospital. Her parents and her sister, Norma Grochoske preceded her in death.Survivors include her husband; Jack Kunze of Marlin, brother; Erwin Grochoske and his wife, Margaret of Marlin, sisters-in-law; Ruthie Temples of Mart and Annie Mae Kunze of Taylor, honorary grandchildren; Roy Clifton, Keith Monroe and Thomas York, her extended family and dear friends.Memorials may be made to Saint John's UCC Memorial Fund.
