Ava Gene Breed Weathers of Belton, Texas completed her journey peacefully Monday, February 3, 2014 surrounded by her family. She was 82. She was preceded in death by her husband, William B. Weathers (2011) and her parents A.H. and Ora Breed.She is survived by her five sons and their wives: Philip and Sandra, Timothy and Lottie, Scott and Pam, John & Sue, Stephen and Pat, brother David and wife Lori. She has 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and a multitude of nieces and nephews.Ava Gene Breed was born in Thornton, Texas, graduated from Marlin High School and the Brackenridge School of Nursing. In addition to raising 5 boys, she worked as an RN in ICU and CCU ending her career with the Travis County Juvenile Authority.Graveside services will be held at Criswell Cemetery at 10A.M. Wednesday, February 5, 2014.
